On November 21, 2025, in honor of November 24 — National Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan, a scientific and cultural event titled “The Flag — Connecting the Present and Future of the Country” was held in the auditorium of the Tajik University of Innovations and Digital Technologies. The event was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Kulyab, Ghafforzoda Davlatjon; the Rector of the University, Associate Professor Sa’dullozoda Shahriyor Sa’dullo; Head of the Youth and Sports Department of Kulyab, Abdullozoda Rahim; as well as professors and students.

The event began with the performance of the National Anthem. Then the Rector of the University delivered a speech, warmly congratulating the audience on this important historical date, noting that this year we celebrate National Flag Day in a truly historic year for the entire people of Tajikistan — the 31st anniversary of the pivotal 16th session of the Supreme Council and the 34th anniversary of the independence of our beloved homeland.

During 34 years of independence, under the fluttering of the State Flag, dozens of major national projects and hundreds of important industrial and social facilities have been built across the country. All of these achievements are the result of the patriotic efforts of the Leader of the Nation and the dedicated citizens, contributing to sustainable economic development, strengthening state capacity, and unprecedented prosperity and beautification of our beloved homeland.

It is a matter of great pride that today, alongside other UN member countries, the State Flag of independent Tajikistan flies in front of the building of this prestigious international organization.

We are obliged to protect our National Flag and honor it as a symbol of national statehood, independence, freedom, and invaluable national value.

Then the Deputy Mayor of Kulyab, Ghafforzoda Davlatjon, and Head of Youth Affairs, Abdullozoda Rahim, on behalf of the city administration, warmly congratulated the audience on National Flag Day, emphasizing that the flag is a sacred symbol of an independent Tajik state, a symbol of peaceful life, eternal national unity, and hope for the nation’s prosperity. The honorable Tajik people always revere the national flag, which embodies the aspirations of every freedom-loving nation. Under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, with determination and constructive energy, the country moves forward in the spirit of unity, building a just society and further prosperity.

Following the speeches, the University’s Cultural Department presented the attendees with a vibrant cultural program dedicated to the celebration of National Flag Day.
