Khurbonzoda B.D. has held the following positions:

• Equipment mechanic at Trutzchler (Germany) company, “Kulob-Textile” spinning factory (2001–2004).

• Assistant at the Department of “General Professional and Engineering Disciplines” at the branch of the Tajik Technological University in Kulob (2004–2008).

• Head of the Textile Laboratory at the same department (2008–2009).

• Senior Lecturer at the Department of “General Professional and Engineering Disciplines” (2009–2010).

• Head of the Textile Laboratory at the Department of “Light Industry Technology” at the Kulob branch of the Tajik Technological University (2010–2015).

• Head of the Department of Education and Quality Management at the Institute of Technology and Innovative Management in Kulob (2015–2020).

• Head of the Directorate of Education and Quality Management at the same institute (2020–2023).

• Since January 17, 2023, he has been serving as the First Vice-Rector of the Institute of Technology and Innovative Management in Kulob.
