TAJIKISTAN UNIVERSITY OF INNOVATION AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES HOSTED A SUBJECT OLYMPIAD AMONG SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS


Within the framework of implementing the Medium-Term Program for the Development of the Digital Economy in the Republic of Tajikistan, the declaration of 2025–2030 as the “Years of Digital Economy and Innovation Development,” as well as the implementation of the “Artificial Intelligence Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan until 2040,” the Twenty-Year Program for the Study and Development of Natural, Mathematical, and Exact Sciences for 2020–2040, and the Action Plan of the Tajikistan University of Innovation and Digital Technologies, a subject Olympiad in Information Technologies and Mathematics was held on 25 May 2026 among students of secondary educational institutions of the Kulob region.

The Olympiad was conducted in two stages. The first stage was organized online in secondary educational institutions across the Kulob region, with the participation of 204 applicants. Based on the results of the first round, 60 participants in two categories advanced to the second stage.

The second stage of the Olympiad was held in person at the University, where participants competed in two nominations — Computer Technologies and Mathematics.

During the competition, participants’ level of knowledge, analytical skills, logical thinking, and ability to solve complex subject-related problems were evaluated. The students demonstrated their knowledge and abilities in an atmosphere of fair and healthy competition.

🥉 3rd Place — Shahriyor Tavqiev, student of the Presidential School for Gifted Students in Kulob City

🥇 1st Place — Bibisoro Marizoeva, student of Secondary School No. 37, Kulob City

🥈 2nd Place — Malohat Azimova, student of Secondary School No. 37, Kulob City

🥉 3rd Place — Paymona Rahimova, student of Secondary School No. 37, Kulob City

The organization of such events contributes to the development of scientific thinking, strengthens students’ interest in exact sciences, and prepares the younger generation for the demands of the digital economy and modern technologies.

The official closing ceremony and award presentation are scheduled for 30 May 2026, during which the winners will be honored by the administration of the Tajikistan University of Innovation and Digital Technologies with diplomas and valuable gifts.
